• The week before the last one I spoke at Worthing College to a group of Public Service students invited by Mr Colin Illsley.
It is difficult for me to speak about the EU without referring to my experience as former Chief Accountant so I decided I had to start the speech by telling them who I was and how I got to represent the British in the European Parliament.
Apart from that I had promised myself to be as objective as possible so I started with the history of the present EU. It is funny, because as I was speaking and referring to the dates of the different treaties I realised how all of them represented well-planned phases towards the United States of Europe.
