Nuttall grills Potočnik on shifty climate change science

• UKIP MEP Paul Nuttall asked environment commissioner-designate Janez Potočnik (Slovenia) whether he thinks it is presumptious to believe that climate change is man-made, considering the fluctuations that have existed since the remote past, and given that 30,000 scientists have signed a declaration rejecting this antropocentric science.

Mr Potočnik appeared uncertain, but applying the famous 'precautionary principle' his answer was to the effect of 'what if I'm right and you're wrong?'
