According to Der Speigel the Greek Government is considering leaving the Eurozone. There is an EU emergency meeting about this in Luxembourg tonight:

"Sources with information about the [Greek] government's actions have informed SPIEGEL ONLINE that Athens is considering withdrawing from the euro zone. The common currency area's finance ministers and representatives of the European Commission are holding a secret crisis meeting in Luxembourg on Friday night."

Responding to this new twist, UKIP Leader Nigel Farage said this evening:

"Let's hope for everybody's sake that the EU is big enough and brave enough for Greece to leave the Euro. This is a win-win situation, good for the Greeks and good for the Finns," referring to
recent attempts by the True Finns in their bid to block further bailouts.

"The euro as currently structured is an economic disaster leading to poverty and unemployment for millions of people.  If Greece leaves the Euro, I suspect that Ireland and Portugal will follow in quick succession."
