The government's (Blair to present) total lack of long term energy strategy has set us on course for blackouts in the winter of 2014-15 according a consensus of several experts: one of which is Derek Birkett, a national grid engineer consultant, whose book "When Will The Lights Go Out" is a chilling if soberly technical read. And of course the "The Wind Farm Scam" by Dr John Etherington is already well known.
