For your delectation....and some Balls

From time to time I shall post for your delectation some of the horror stories about how the EU, more often than not aided and abetted by the Old Collaborationist Parties (That's the Labour Party, The Tories and The Lib Dumbs to you) have either been getting up to or are about to get up to. And also some other bits and pieces that take my fancy.

Here's a first taster to send a chill down your spine.

Lee Rotheram has an excellent report on how Labour, always keen to tell you that they have managed to obtain this 'opt-out' or that, in fact utterly subverts the whole purpose thereof by quietly signing up to a whole load of opt-ins.

A fine report and well worth the effort of reading it the better to understand how the EU goes about the business of integration.

Remember, all threee major parties remain committed to our membership of the EU and with it the perfect joys of 'ever-closer union'.

The threat to our way of life is exemplified by the series of proposals coming down the line to 'Europeanize' our criminal justice system. Of this, more in good time. But here is a sampler of what the EU has in mind.

First Bruno Waterfield flags up in The Telegraph the plans for a European Public Prosecutor. As you read it, just ponder for a moment what one of the obvious attributes of an Independdent Nation State is? Yes, you've got it. It has to have, in order to enforce its will, its very own criminal justice system along with all the impedimenta that involves: a public prosecutor, a public prosecutors office, a court system, a police force, a system of law and, if the peasants get unruly, a militia to put them down. Oh, and prisons......I bet the EU Comrades just salivate at the thought of having prisons....so next time Nigel is deemed to be opposing Le Grand Projet too much.....

And yes, the EU will have them all: The European Public Prosecutor backed up by EUROJUST and OLAF, proto-prosecution services; EUROPOL and OLAF as proto-police forces, Corpus Juris as a basic criminal justice system, and the EUROGENDARMERIE in Vicenza, handily placed for putting down riots in say, Greece, as the militia.

And if you have a criminal justice system you need warrants for arresting people, don't you? Well we already have the European Arrest Warrant for whisking people off after the 3.00 am knock at the door. Then there's the European Evidence Warrant for foreign judges to have UK policemen enter your home and seize your property for foreign police investigations. It is all about to fall into place.

The world is getting a regular dose of the unlovely Dr. Radovan Karadzic. The Times (which I shall be boycotting when it goes to SKY TV 'pay-per-view' in June) has this little tit-bit. Word from The Hague suggests that the South Korean Judge lets Karadzic away with all sorts of naughty stuff and regularly has to be prodded into action. Meanwhile Dr. K trashes some poor chap from Bosnia.

Then there is the priapic Silvio Berlusconi being castigated for taking communion, even though he is undergoing a divorce. One might have thought that the Catholic Church had more importnat things on its plate than a serial Italian adulterer. Such as rather a lot of Priests who are serial peadophiles or who otherwise serially abuse children?

Belgium is on the point of banning the burka in public places and France is set fair to do the same. Where UKIP leads, others follow!

Here's one from Guido about what an obnoxious bully Ed Balls is.........hopefully Anthony Calvert in Morley & Outwood will give us a 'Portillo' momentito to savour.

Dan Hannan has a look at how the Eurcracy is sending itself into paroxysms of Onanistic delight at the prospect of Clegg becoming PM or Foreign Secretary.

Finally James Kirkup in the Telegraph on why (as seems to be the case seen from here) Labour's campaign has taken on the hydrodynamic characteristics of a 1lb. lead ball in a pond.
